On 19 January 2011, the film shooting started in Warsaw for the second season of the „Ludzie Chudego” series. The shooting is scheduled until 13 April and will mostly take place in Warsaw Praga, which has been the case so far. The new series is directed by Maciej Wojtyszko.
„Ludzie Chudego” is a comedy series with Cezary Żak, Piotr Pręgowski and Michał Żurawski starring as main characters. In the first season, we also saw Dorota Segda, Marian Dziędziel, Edyta Olszówka, Anna Cieślak, Anna Samusionek, Piotr Zelt, Jacek Braciak and others. All those actors and their characters will also appear in the second season.
Still, even more than in the previous season, the characters of that series spend most of their time hiding what they have spoiled themselves. In the second part of the „Ludzie Chudego” new and exciting plots will appear – night races, psychopathic killers, spectacular mistaken kidnappings, a living person who pretends to be dead, a man pretending to be a woman, a police woman pretending to be a prostitute, international criminal network connections leading to the police precinct in Praga – and also love plots that are surprising for the main characters themselves. There will also be new characters speaking German, Russian, Romanian and … Latin.
The original format of „Ludzie Chudego” is the Spanish TV series “Los Hombres de Paco” licensed by Imachina International Sales.
The first season of the series showing the adventures of policemen having bad luck (directed by Wojciech Adamczyk, premiere, on Sunday night, POLSAT TV ) was attracting an average of 2.4 million viewers on Sunday nights. This gave the Polsat TV a 18.8% share in the group of 16-49.
